Taylor Swift’s internet rulebook

Long before Taylor Swift was the subject of serious  ire  and  scrutiny , she was interested in laying out puzzles and being the sole keeper of the key. Her  album liner notes  have always had hidden clues, as complicated as a Zodiac cypher, put there obviously enough for fans to figure out but never quite so obviously as to be confirmable. She’s known for naming names, but more often than not she has actually let fans do that last bit of work for her. On her 2012 album  Red , she even didn’t have to say “Jake Gyllenhaal.” She said only “twin fire signs / four blue eyes,” left a liner puzzle that spelled out “SAGITTARIUS,” and appended  a bonus track  explicitly about being stood up on her birthday. Who else? Gyllenhaal’s birthday is December 19th; Swift’s is December 13th. Publicly, they broke up sometime in December 2010. she stumbled in the transition between paper notes and the notes app As the times shifted away from notes passed to fans on literal paper and Swift had to reck

Floyd Mayweather totally out-classed Conor McGregor

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will retire a perfect 50-0 -- and Conor McGregor made him work for it. McGregor's first boxing match was a heckuva show -- the 29-year-old mixed martial-arts superstar acquitted himself beautifully on Saturday night in Las Vegas, hitting Mayweather more than the champ is used to -- but one of the 40-year-old Mayweather's powerful right-hand jabs round dazed the Irishman badly in the 9th, and Mayweather quickly took advantage. SEE ALSO:  Floyd 'Crypto' Mayweather is totally into cryptocurrencies Mayweather pressed the attack straightaway in the 10th; McGregor, looking totally gassed, had nothing left, and as Floyd's punches began landing more fiercely, veteran referee Robert Byrd called it. Mayweather would win his last fight in a knockout. McGregor went toe-to-toe with Mayweather in early rounds, landing straight-ahead jabs, counterpunching well and overall being more active and aggressive than his veteran opponent. Mayweather kept ducking,

Old Taylor Swift is dead. May New Taylor Swift forever reign in terror

Taylor Swift has been sorted into Slytherin, and she's bringing  a new banger  to their house parties. If  the snake videos  weren't enough of a clue, Taylor's enemies have driven her to a poisonous place -- or so she'd have us believe. "Bad Blood" will go down as a bratty tiff compared to "Look What You Made Me Do," a message from the all-new Taylor Swift, a first offering from  Reputation  that's dripping with lethal venom. "I'm sorry, the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now," she sarcastically snarls during the break. "Why? Oh! 'Cause she's dead!" RIP sunny, lovelorn Taylor. Long live dark, vengeful Taylor.  May she forever reign in terror.  SEE ALSO:  You'll never guess how many times 'Taylor Swift' appears on the 'Reputation' cover If this first single in three years is to be believed, Swift has been progressively provoked from shaking it off to lashing out -- a pivot

Kim Kardashian Aired Out Her Nipples While Wearing Questionable Camo Shorts

Kim Kardashian is something of a master of  the "double take" outfit , and she showed her skills again with a combination sheer black bodysuit, bejeweled sandal heels, and then a pair of billowing camo-print shorts. Just say that last part out loud, then gird yourself again: Kim is no stranger to  boundary-pushing fashion , but if camo Bermuda shorts are a hard sell on a Kardashian, not sure if this style deserves to get new legs. But it's sure great for showing off hers, which admittedly look fabulous topped off with those glittering sandals. Kim switched up her sidewalk style showcase with a pair of chic black shades, all the better for avoiding paparazzi flashes: While Kim had no problem showing off her nips to the general public, little sis Kendall Jenner chose a very different approach, opting for boots and a ruffled floral dress: The sisters are clearly representing their personal brands while out and about, making this a celebrity outing only the Kardashi

Kanye West Is Suing An Insurance Company for $10 Million

The dispute centers around the rapper's canceled Saint Pablo tour. Kanye West bowed out of his Saint Pablo tour in November of last year, citing health issues that  kept him in the hospital . Since then, the rapper's been keeping a relatively lower profile until now, as  he's suing the tour's insurance company  for $10 million. Because the tour cancelation was due to his medical condition, Kanye argues that the tour's insurers, Lloyd's of London, should've paid out his claims. What's stopping the firm? According to a complaint  obtained  by the  Hollywood Reporter , Kanye's side of the suit alleges: "Nor have they [Lloyd's] provided anything approaching a coherent explanation about why they have not paid, or any indication if they will ever pay or even make a coverage decision, implying that Kanye’s use of marijuana may provide them with a basis to deny the claim and retain the hundreds of thousands of dollars in insurance premiums paid

Titanic' cast reunite 20 years later

If you're wondering why a bunch of  Titanic  stories have been popping up lately, it's because 2017 is the film's 20-year anniversary. James Cameron is  making a documentary about it  and everything. On Wednesday, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation held its yearly gala to raise money for environmental causes. A whole bunch of celebrities went, Madonna performed, and -- most importantly -- Leo's  Titanic  co-stars made an appearance. It was the perfect opportunity for Billy Zane to up his Instagram game with the following, spectacularly captioned photo: The joke quickly spread on Twitter, too. If there's one thing that makes the internet happy, it's cast reunions decades after a film.

Beyoncé’s and Adele’s Grammy Speeches: Transcripts

Beyoncé did not utter the words “President Trump” on Sunday as she accepted the Grammy for best urban contemporary album for “Lemonade,” but her powerful statement about the need for positive depictions of black lives spoke to the current political moment. Here is her full speech: Thank you so much. Hi baby. Thank you to the Grammy voters for this incredible honor, and thank you to everyone who worked so hard to beautifully capture the profundity of deep southern culture. I thank God for my family, my wonderful husband, my beautiful daughter, my fans for bringing me so much happiness and support. We all experience pain and loss, and often we become inaudible. My intention for the film and album was to create a body of work that would give a voice to our pain, our struggles, our darkness and our history. To confront issues that make us uncomfortable. It’s important to me to show images to my children that reflect their beauty, so they can grow up in a world where they look in the mirr

Eminem Calls Donald Trump "a Bitch" In New Song

Social media was in a frenzy on Friday morning after the release of rapper Big Sean’s new album,  I Decided , which features Eminem on a track taking shots at President Donald Trump. Joining Big Sean on the track “No Favors," Eminem, who was born Marshall Mathers, says “I’m anti, can’t no government handle a commando. Your man don’t want it, Trump’s a bitch! I’ll make his whole brand go under.” On Thursday, Big Sean complimented Eminem on the performance.  I Decided  was released on Friday.  "No Favors feels like back to back homeruns, you f---in destroyed this verse! Thank you for blessing the album w/ this! #Detroit," he tweeted.  There are also a few unflattering lines from Eminem about Ann Coulter in the song. This is hardly the first time Eminem has rapped about political figures, including in 2009 when he rapped about having sex with Sarah Palin in the single "We Made You". Trump has yet to respond to the song, but he is, to say the least, usually v
