Galaxy S8 RAM confirmed for China along with US sales commencement

The  Galaxy S8  has been leaked in all its glory by now, new software being the exception, so the countdown until the announcement is in full swing. At this point, the devil is in the details, with interested buyers and diehard fans alike yearning for specific information and the time of the sales commencement in their region or part of the world. Twitter member  @mmdj_china , known for his  Galaxy C5 Pro photo leak , brings new information about the Chinese variants as well as US sales commencement of the next Galaxy. From Twitter, the leakster says that all Galaxy S8 Chinese variants, both the S8 and S8 Plus, will feature 6GB of RAM and have a minimum of 64GB (128GB maximum) onboard storage out of the box. Chinese buyers can expect to pick up either Galaxy S8 in the 15th week (which puts Chinese sales commencement in the third week of April). Steven Mnuchin, Trump's pick for Treasury secretary, confirmed by the Senate after fierce opposition by Democrats

Mnuchin's confirmation came down nearly on a party line vote of 53 to 47, with no Republicans voting against the confirmation. Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia voted for Mnuchin. Mnuchin, a former  Goldman Sachs banker and hedge fund manager , came under fire during his confirmation for various mistakes in financial disclosures to the Senate, as well as several previous investments. Mnuchin's fund invested in a mortgage lender called IndyMac at the height of the housing crisis (the name was later changed to OneWest). The lender's subsequent foreclosures on homeowners was called out by opponents as proof that the Treasury nominee profited from the financial woes of everyday Americans. Democrats claimed Mnuchin's company used  tactics such as robo-signing  to foreclose on as many people

Volvo XC40 confirmed for 2017 launch

Compact SUV confirmed as the first model in an all-new Volvo 40-series family by  Mark Tisshaw Volvo ’s crucial new  XC40 compact SUV  will be launched this autumn, R&D boss Henrik Green has confirmed. Speaking to Autocar at the  Detroit motor show , Green said the XC40 will be the first model to use Volvo’s CMA architecture and the base development work of the car has been completed. “There’s a big chance it’ll be one of the most successful cars in our line-up,” he said. The family of 40-series models, which is also set to be sold in the US, will represent “a significant part of growth in the next three to four years”, said Green. The XC40, which will rival the  BMW X1  and  Audi Q3  in the competitive and rapidly growing compact SUV segment, was previewed last year by the Concept 40.1, along with another potential 40-series model, the Concept 40.2 saloon. A V40 replacement will also be spun off the CMA platform, which Volvo has co-developed with Geely, its Chinese parent
