Luciano Baietti is a former headmaster of a secondary school, living in a city near Rome. Baietti holds 15 bachelors and master degrees from different Italian academic centers. He received his first degree in physical education in 1972. Other degrees include criminology, military strategies, food science, sociology, literature, law, political science and philosophy. The record holder says he was inspired by the 19th century French essayist, Louis-Francois Bertin. The study-lover is also volunteering with Italy's Red Cross.
