Craig Burley and Mark Donaldson dissect the winners and losers of the UCL round of 16 draw.
Arsenal have been drawn against Bayern Munich in the Champions League's round of 16, while Barcelona will take on Paris Saint-Germain.
Defending champions Real Madrid will play Napoli and Manchester City face Ligue 1 side Monaco.
Arsenal, who won their group this season for the first time since the 2011-12 campaign, will be aiming to reach the quarterfinals of the competition for the first time since 2009-10.
The Gunners meet Bayern again after facing them in the group stage last year and being dumped out at the round-of-16 stage by the Germans in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
PSG, meanwhile, won their first meeting against Barca in the quarterfinals of the 1994-95 competition, but the Catalan club won the quarterfinal meetings in 2012-13 and 2014-15.
The two clubs also met in the group stage in 2014, when PSG won at the Parc des Princes and Barca won at the Camp Nou.
PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert, a former Barcelona striker, told BT: "You know that the possibility is there to draw one of the biggest clubs in the world.
"We've experienced playing against Barcelona a couple of times in the quarterfinals and once in the group stage.
"We have to face it. That's the draw. We can't hide."
Barca vice president Jordi Mestre to beIN SPORTS: "[PSG] are an old acquaintance, they're not an easy team to play at all. Until now, things have gone well when we've faced them, but every season is different. In the Champions League there are no easy teams. Out of who we could have drawn, Bayern were the most difficult, but PSG are a great team."
Arsenal will play Bayern Munich once more as they seek to get beyond the round of 16.
Real Madrid face Napoli as they bid to become the first team to win the competition in successive seasons. Zinedine Zidane's side currently sit six points clear at the top of La Liga and are on a club-record unbeaten run of 35 games.
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side, who reached the semifinals of the competition last season, have been drawn against Monaco.
Guardiola has won the Champions League twice as a coach with Barca, and reached the semifinals three times in succession during his time in charge at Bayern.
City director of football Txiki Begiristain said: "It's always difficult to say whether it's a tough or easy draw. We are happy to be here.
"Monaco are doing well, they have good players, good talent, young players and they are playing some of the best football in France.
"Of course the first times we came [to this stage] we played Barca. Real and Bayern Munich. It's always good news to avoid them."
Atletico Madrid, last season's runners-up, take on German side Bayer Leverkusen, while Juventus will play Porto.
Premier League champions Leicester City will take on Europa League holders Sevilla after winning their group, and Portuguese giants Benfica play Borussia Dortmund.
